MACHAME ROUTE. - SIX DAYS.

It starts at Machame on the western side and comes down on the eastern side at Marangu. The climbing and the descent normally takes one week (6 Days.) DAY ONE. From Moshi to Kilimanjaro National Park gate takes about 50 minute. Once in the page gate, climbers are requested to make their final preperations for the climb. We leave the park gate for the Machame cottage. Here we have a camp rest, have dinner and overnight stay. At this point we will be at an attitude of 3,100m. DAY TWO. After breakfast at Machame Hut we trek for about 4 hours to the Shira-Hut ( 3,658 ). Rest, dinner and overnight there. DAY THREE. This about 6 hrs walk from Shira-Hut to Barranco Hut at an altitude of 4600m. Have a camp rest, dinner and overnight stay. The two peaks of Mawezi and Kibo are to be seen from this position. DAY FOUR. - 8hrs walk. After breakfast we continue towards Barafu hut, which is locatead at an altitude of 4600m. Here set a camp make dinner and rest for the night. The two peaks of Mawezi and Kibo are to be seen from this postion. DAY FIVE. - About 11hrs walk. This is the hardest day. After breakfast, we continue our ascent to stella point on our way to Uhuru Peak ( 5,985m.). This is the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and in Africa. From Uhuru we now descent straight down to the Mweka hut campsite.(3100m). Later in the evening we will enjoy our last dinner on the mountain and a well earned sleep. DAY SIX. - About 4hrs walk. After breakfast we continue the descent down to Mweka park gate and drive back to moshi, Taveta or even to Namanga, or Kilimanjaro Airport.

NGORONGORO CRATER. - Three days.

DAY ONE. You will driven to Namanga border town. After immigration formalities, continue to Arusha for a lunch break. Proceed to Ngorongoro for overnight on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife Lodge or campsite. DAY TWO. After breakfast, taking a picnic lunch with you, descend into the crater-floor for a full day game viewing. Break for lunch at Ngoititoktok springs picnic site. Ngorongoro is the only place one would expect for sure to see the endangered Rhino. The crater also offers colourful birdlife to all distribution. Animals of different variaties are in abundance. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or campsite. DAY THREE. After breakfast, we will proceed to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. Proceed to Nairobi through namanga border. Be in Nairobi early in the evening.

NGORONGO/L.MANYARA. - Three days.

DAY ONE. You will be driven to Namanga border town. After immigration formalities, continue to Arusha for a lunch break. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park on the base of the great rift valley. This park support variety birds and animals. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, and its large flocks of flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or campsite. DAY TWO. After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. Taking picnic lunch with you, descend into the crater floor for game veiwing. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring picnic site. This will be one of the unforgettable experince under the sun. All the 'big five' can be seen here. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or campsite. DAY THREE. After breakfast, we will proceed to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. Proceed to Nairobi through namanga border. Be in Nairobi early evening.

MANYARA/NGORONGO/TARANGIRE. - Four days.

DAY ONE. You will be driven to Namanga border town. After immigration formalities, continue to Arusha for a lunch break. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park on the base of the great rift valley. This park support variety birds and animals. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, and its large flocks of flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or campsite. DAY TWO. After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. Taking picnic lunch with you, descend into the crater floor for game veiwing. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring picnic site. After breakfast, we will proceed to Tarangire arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in the Tarangire National park. One of the most beautiful in Tanzania with regards to animal concentration and abundance. Big herds move down from Ngorongoro, Manyara and surroundind game reserves to fetch water and food as Tarangire is always full of vegetation. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire safari Lodge or campsite. DAY FOUR. After breakfast, depert Tarangire for Arusha. Get lunch then drive to Nairobi pass Namamnga border town, arriving early evening.

MANYARA/NGORONGO/SERENGETI. - Four days.

DAY ONE. You will driven to Namanga border town. After immigration formalities, continue to Arusha for a lunch break. Proceed to Lake Manyara National Park on the base of the great rift valley. This park support variety birds and animals. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, and its large flocks of flamingoes. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or campsite. DAY TWO. After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. Taking picnic lunch with you, descend into the crater floor for game veiwing. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring picnic site. After breakfast, we will then proceed to Olduvai George. Lunch at Gorge Museum. After lunch, visit various sites of Gorge to see where the remains of pre-historic man were discoverd by the famous archeologist Dr. L.S.B. Leakey. After proceed to Serengeti plains past Seronera and on to lobo, with afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Lobo wildlife lodge or campsite. DAY FOUR. Leave Lobo for Ndutu with game viewing in Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to loctate leopards and numerous plains games as well as cheetahs, a common species here. Dinner and overnight at Lobo wildlife lodge or campsite. DAY FIVE. After breakfast, a brief game viewing on your way to out of Serengeti drive to Arusha. Have lunch at arusha hotel. Then drive to Nairobi pass Namamnga border, arriving in the evening.
