Malindi Big Game Fishing.
Kenya coast happends to be the best fishing ground on Africa continent with wide variety of top sporting game to be caught. The waters off Malindi offer some of the best sailfishing to be found in the world. A great number of fish have been caught including Broadbill swordfish, bule, black and striped marlin, tanguigue(kingfish), wahoo, barracuda, tuna, dolphin (dorado) and giant trevally.
A day fishing starts at 0600 hours and finishes at 1400 hours. During the marlin season (mid-december to end of March) the boats takes a 'long' days until 1700 hours. A boat takes a maximum of four fishermen. Each boat is fully equipped with latest top tackle featuring Penn International and shimano reels matched mainly with Fenwick rods.
VHF Radios provide two way communication and most boats are fitted with GPS to facilitate navigation for long range and overnight trips.
Soft drinks are provided on board and packed lunches can be arranged. The fishing season starts in july and continues throughout the year until the beginning of April. The southern wind (Kusi) blows from mid-March to mid-November and the northern wind (Kaskazi) blows the rest of the time.
